It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? The past few months have been busy with wedding planning, visiting with friends and family from Germany, the wedding itself, and a double honeymoon with my husband’s best friends. It’s been stressful, but also a ton of fun!
Today, I’m going to share some of the photos I took at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, which we took our overseas guests to visit as part of our “tour of metro Detroit.”
I have little interest in cars, and had assumed they made up the majority of the museum.
Yes, there are a LOT of cars, but the Henry Ford also boasts a large collection of trains…
…planes…
…and much, much more.
After spending hours in the museum, we still didn’t manage to see everything!
I plan to stop by soon for another visit, and I will come armed with something better than my camera phone. There were hundreds of photo opportunities, including the chair President Lincoln died in, and an extensive collection of antique dresses, but my phone’s camera rides the struggle bus the moment lighting isn’t ideal.
If you love museums and find yourself in the metro Detroit area, I highly recommend adding the Henry Ford to your list of must-see places!
